I love to teach, and I love to learn. I have taken more than 70 full courses at the college and graduate levels; nonetheless, the majority of what I know and can do was learned by doing rather than by being taught. Practical hands-on learning is a must for me and is the rule of everything I have created in the writing course.
And that brings me to one topic that can fit into this blog category - the story of how I began teaching and what teaching in the classroom means to me.
I will also share some of my more interesting learning experiences, including suggestions on how not to teach a college course.
Because I have a Masters degree in Education, I will include discussions of practical things to do in imparting the joy of learning to people, young and old.
